See old lady dying in the nursing home
She suffers miserably all alone
Her son keeps her there ´cause she´s too broke 
Though she´d retire safely, but found out it was a joke

 She thought the government would
 Give back money they took
 Then she foun out they don´t play by that book
 Now, she sits alone hoping to die 
 Social security...

Look at the old man lost in his booze
He´s wasting time away, just tying up his noose 
Can you really blame him, with nothing to live for?
He worked and worked his life away and
Got shoved right out the door.

 He thought the government would
 Give back money they took
 Then he found they don´t play by that book
 Now, he sits alone, hoping to die 
 Social security
